English: ROCS Chung Chuan (LST-221) on May 29, 1946, the United States handed over to my country in Qingdao under the U.S. Lease Act. After receiving the ship, it became an army and named it Chung Chuan Warship. The first captain was Gao Guangyou School. It was ordered in March 1952. The serial number was changed to ARL-335. It was renamed the Hengshan warship in August 1953. It was then ordered to restore its original name to the warship Chung Chuan, numbered LST-221. During its service, it participated in the 1947 Jiaodong Coastal Campaign. The retreat in Longkou, Penglai, Weihaiwei in 1948, the Battle of Changshan Eight Islands in 1950, the Zhoushan Retreat in 1949, and the Battle of Yushan Island in the Zhejiang Sea in November 1954, have made great achievements.
The ship was ordered to be decommissioned on June 1, 2009, because the hull and most of its equipment were old.
